CEC CERTIFIED E-COMMERCE CONSULTANTS ™ - Credentialing Requirements

The CEC Board upholds the highest standards in the industry. Below are the requirements for certification:

Certification Requirements

1)  Education 

·         Complete a  GAFM ISO 21001 Accredited Training Course with an approved provider.   

·         Alternatively, hold a  qualifying master’s degree with courses specific to the certification. See examples of qualifying degrees   

2) Ethical Commitment 

·      Agree to GAFM Ethical Terms and professional standards.  

3) Continuing Education 

·      Commit to ongoing education through  online educational Global Programs.  

4) Experience 

·      Possess at least  3 years of relevant professional experience.

Eligibility for Certification 

·      Individuals with the following qualifications may apply for certification: MBA, Masters Degree, CPA, Accounting License, Law License, MS, PhD, DBA, JD, or other degrees from an accredited institution.

5) Training  Program Completion if you are not already approved by #1 

·      Complete a certification program from any Approved Provider (or providers  recognized under GAFM, AAFM or AAPM).  

6) Examination Requirement if you are not already Pre-Approved 

·      A comprehensive quiz under ISO  standards can be provided  for all candidates seeking certification who have not already taken accredited university courses and assessments and diplomas.  

·      Candidates with a  qualified degree and assessment program completion are exempt from the additional exam.

• The CEC  IBS AAPM holdsSiS Certification, which is recognized by theIAS International Accreditation Body in the EU.
• CEC is ISO Certified 29993, ISO Certified 9001, and ISO Certified 21001

• U.S. Department of Labor - Many Certifications listed on CareerOneStop and other government supported sites.
• ECLBS, QAHE and MACCA Accredited
• Department of Education and ACBSP Accreditation Standards
• The IAS International Accreditation Service is recognized by U.S. authorities and is listed on the websites of:
  • GAO (Government Accountability Office)
  • SIS and IAS are recognized EPA, Department of Interior, DOD (Department of Defense), DOE (Department of Energy), FDA, FEMA, IRS, USAID, Homeland Security, and more.

This certification aligns with guidance provided by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Employment and Training Administration.
